I got introduced to the series because of Don't Starve Together which was gifted to me from a Best Friend. In Hamlet, you dig out treasure from the ruins, encounter some Pig Civilization and face much bigger challenges which can be a hassle like bigger bats, giant bird, toxic wastelands, traps in the ruins, the fog and the Aporkalypse and more! In Shipwrecked, you just try to survive on Islands and sail through the ocean, also experiencing cool other stuff. In ROG, same like the usual DS world but you face bigger opponents. The game is much fun with the DLCs, especially Reign of Giants, Shipwrecked, and Hamlet. One can give it a go and try doing the story mode of venturing through Maxwell's worlds. The game can become too repetitive when doing certain tasks over and over again either it be running out of food, getting materials for the same tool or trying to find something to do. It is also advisable to keep your campfire, torch or any other light source on during the dark as the shadows would come to rid you from the Constant.

You would have to start a new game, pick a different character (or the same) and gather again the resources and food you need to survive. One can craft tools, survival gadgets, types of clothing (depending on the season), weapons, armour and even built a base with some fortifications (and traps) if you want to keep those damn hounds outside! Note: You will die a lot in the game if not careful or the scenarios being inevitable.

A lot of foraging must be done to gather the required resources and food needed to survive the horrendous Winter, Summer and Spring (Autumn is cool and easy). Each character you play has their own pros and cons which you have to work with depending in what world setting you play as in the Constant. It is one of those games that are different than any other survival games. A very original game with an unique art and animation style, and interesting lore behind it.
